A teenage girl in Faryab took her own life by mistake

Local authorities in Faryab say that a teenage girl committed suicide using a weapon in the center of this province.

Officials at the Faryab Police Command say that this teenage girl committed suicide using a hunting weapon on Sunday in the city of Maimane, the capital of this province.

According to them, this girl was 16 years old and accidentally shot herself with a weapon and died.

It should be noted that the number of suicides has increased in recent years in Afghanistan and most of the victims are women and girls.
