Iran expelled more than 7 thousand Afghan immigrants

Iranian authorities say that more than 7,000 Afghan immigrants who entered the country illegally have been sent to Afghanistan through the Dogharon border.

According to IRNA news agency, Sardar Majid Shuja, the border guard commander of Khorasan Razavi, said that in order to deal with the illegal presence of foreign nationals in the country, the identification of these nationals was placed on the agenda of the police and border guards sent back seven thousand and 563 of the country’s illegal nationals Afghanistan to their country through Taibad border regiment.

He added that for this reason, the border guards of Taibad Border Regiment handed over the number of unlicensed citizens of Afghanistan, who were identified in different parts of the country, to the representative of Afghanistan through Dogharun border.

Iran is one of the countries that currently hosts the largest number of Afghan immigrants.
