Russia raised the age of compulsory military service

The lower house of Russia has approved a law that increases the age of men’s conscription from 27 to 30 years, which was also approved by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

This decree will be implemented from January 1st, and according to it, men must go to military service for one year, and this law will also ensure that those who have been called to the military cannot leave the country.

However, the minimum age for military service remains the same as 18.
