More than 2 thousand Afghan immigrants returned to Afghanistan from Iran

The Ministry of Refugee Affairs has announced the return of more than two thousand Afghan refugees from Iran to the country.

The ministry wrote in a tweet that two thousand and 278 Afghan immigrants returned to the country from Iran yesterday (Wednesday).

The Ministry of Migrants Affairs quoted the border commander of Islam Qala of Herat Province as saying that among the mentioned people, 1,872 people have been introduced to the office of the International Organization for Migration and received food and non-food assistance for the purpose of receiving help.

This ministry had previously announced too the return of a large number of immigrants from Iran.
