A delegation of Pakistani officials met with Amir Khan Motaghi

Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, says that a delegation headed by Sohail Mahmood, the head of Pakistan’s Institute of Strategic Studies, along with Mr. Obaidur Rahman Nizamani, the country’s ambassador living in Kabul, met with Moulvi Amir Khan Motaqi, the acting head of the ministry.

He wrote in a tweet that the Foreign Minister said in this meeting that some problems hurt the relations between the two countries, so instead of verbal conflict and media statements, the causes of these problems should be understood.

He added that the Islamic Emirate is committed and assures that no one will be harmed from the soil of Afghanistan and Afghanistan and Pakistan should not doubt each other’s good intentions and avoid any challenging cases.

Referring to the security incidents and concerns related to the security situation in Pakistan, the Pakistani delegation said that its country hopes to solve the existing problems through understanding.
