UNICEF: Unexploded ordnance in Afghanistan kills more children

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says that Afghanistan is one of the most contaminated countries with weapons.
In a tweet, UNICEF called Afghanistan one of the countries contaminated by unexploded ordnance and said that children suffer about 85% of casualties from these incidents.
UNICEF added that this organization teaches children to recognize and avoid unexploded ordnance.
Earlier, in a statement, UNICEF expressed concern over the increase in child casualties due to the explosion of unexploded ordnance left over from the war in Afghanistan, and asked everyone to abide by their responsibilities and take up their efforts to clear mines and unexploded ordnance left over from the war.
