The new Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan met with the Taliban’s interior minister

The Ministry of Interior announced that Xiuqing, the new ambassador of China in Kabul, met with Sirajuddin Haqqani, the acting head of the ministry.

In the announcement of the ministry, it is stated that during this meeting, Sirajuddin Haqqani called the relations between China and Afghanistan friendly and close and said that China is a good neighbor of Afghanistan and with their better position, Afghans fully believe in the good intentions of this country.

In the continuation of this meeting, the Chinese ambassador said that China and Afghanistan are two good neighbors and his country fully respects the independence, beliefs and culture of Afghanistan and has no will to interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
