Officials of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan discussed joint projects between the two countries

The Ministry of Energy and Water of the Islamic Emirate has announced that Abdul Latif Mansour, acting head of the ministry, has talked with Murad Artikov, head of international energy projects of Turkmenistan, about joint projects between the two countries.

In a statement, the ministry wrote that in this meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged opinions about the TOP regional project, the power transmission lines project and the Noor Al-Jihad substation project.

Mr. Mansour emphasized that it is better to hold a joint meeting between all three countries (Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan) as soon as possible to coordinate the implementation of the TOP project.

Following this meeting, the head of international energy projects of Turkmenistan assured that his country is committed to the continuation and expansion of joint cooperation with Afghanistan.
