Zelensky asked Canada to keep its country’s victory with Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has praised Canada’s aid in the war against Russia, saying Ottawa’s aid has helped save thousands of lives.

The President of Ukraine made his comments in his speech to the Canadian Parliament and asked Canada to stand by Ukraine until his country’s victory against Russia.

“For Russia to never bring genocide back to Ukraine and never try to do it, Moscow must lose once and for all, and it will lose,” the Ukrainian president added.

Shortly before Zelenskiy’s speech, Prime Minister Kana said his country would provide $650 million in additional military aid over three years to provide Ukraine with 50 armored vehicles.

Ottawa is also sending trainers to help Ukrainian pilots fly Western F-16 fighter jets, he said.
