25 Afghan citizens were released from Iraqi prisons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate has announced the release of 25 Afghan citizens who were imprisoned in Iraq.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry, wrote on the X social page that 25 Afghan nationals have been released from the prisons of the Republic of Iraq as a result of the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Baghdad.

According to him, these citizens were imprisoned in the prisons of the Republic of Iraq due to not having legal documents and returned to the country after issuing the necessary documents.

The Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the Ministry of Defense considers it its duty to protect the rights of the citizens of the country, and assures the nation of its efforts to liberate every citizen of the country in Iraq and all countries of the world.
