Former Indian captain Ajay Jadeja has been appointed as a consultant to the Afghanistan cricket team

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced that it has appointed Ajay Jadeja, the former captain of India, as a consultant for the coach of the national cricket team.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board said that Aji Jadeja, the former captain and batsman of the Indian national cricket team, has been chosen as the consultant for the coach of the country’s national team for this year’s Cricket World Cup.
The country’s cricket board added that Jadija has been the captain of the Indian national team in 13 international games, and out of these, he has won 8 games and lost 5 games.
According to the Cricket Board, the Afghanistan’s national team will play its first match in the current year’s World Cup on October 7 against Bangladesh.
