Sources report the explosion in Baghlan

Local sources in Baghlan have reported an explosion inside a mosque in the center of this province.

Sources say that the explosion took place inside Imam Zaman Mosque in the second district of Pul Khomri city, the center of this province.

According to them, the explosion occurred during Friday prayers inside the mosque.

At the same time, Asadullah Mustafa Hashemi, the head of information and culture of Baghlan, confirmed the explosion and reported that a number of worshipers were killed and wounded in this incident.

However, so far no details of the casualties have been provided.
