The sub-campaign of implementing the polio vaccine in Afghanistan has started

The Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate has announced the beginning of the sub-campaign of polio vaccination in the country and said that this campaign will continue for 7 days.

In a statement, the ministry said that the polio vaccination campaign in the country will start on Saturday and continue for 7 days, and in this campaign more than 6.35 million children will be vaccinated.

According to the Ministry of Public Health, this campaign will be implemented for two days in Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar provinces and for four days in the central, southeast, northeast and Nuristan provinces.

This ministry quoted Kandar Ebad, Acting Ministry of Public Health, as saying that this ministry is committed to eradicating polio in Afghanistan in cooperation with its partners.
