Sirajuddin Haqqani met with the former ambassador of Japan

Sirajuddin Haqqani, Acting Minister of Interior of the Islamic Emirate, met with Takashi Okada, the former ambassador of Japan and his accompanying delegation.

The Ministry of Interior has written on page X that in this meeting, the head of the ministry appreciated Japan’s cooperation with the people of Afghanistan and the two sides discussed the situation in Afghanistan and the region.

Acting Minister of Interior stressed on the development of relations between Afghanistan and Japan and said that due to the historical relations between the two countries, Japan can play a constructive role in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.

Following this meeting, the former ambassador of Japan promised to collect 4 million dollars to help the victims of the earthquake in Herat.
