Acting Minister of Migrant Affairs met with the European Union aid official

Khalilur Rahman Haqqani, Acting Minister of Immigrant Affairs, met with Mrs. Sara, the European Union’s head of development aid for Central Asia, and Mr. Lodik, the deputy ambassador of that union.

The Ministry of Migrant Affairs wrote on page X that during this meeting, the problems of the migrants, the displaced people caused by the Herat earthquake and how to assist them were discussed.

In this meeting, the European Union’s development aid official, recalling the announcement of 4.5 million euros of aid for the victims of the Herat earthquake, said that a memorandum of understanding worth 15 million euros for aid and cooperation with the returnees was also signed.

In this meeting, the Acting Minister of Migrant Affairs expressed his appreciation for the EU’s assistance and demanded the continuation of the EU’s cooperation with the people of Afghanistan.
