Development projects worth 600 million dollars are underway in the southern provinces

Officials of the Ministry of Public Works say that these projects include highways between Zabul-Kandahar, Kandahar-Urzugan, Helmand-Kandahar and reconstruction of bridges.

According to the officials of this ministry, with the completion of the construction of the road from Arghandab Kandahar district to Dehrawood district of Uruzgan, most of the problems of the residents of the southern provinces will be solved.

At the same time, the local authorities of Kandahar say that in order to maintain the highways, they do not allow trucks with more than two tons of cargo to travel.
