Amir Khan Mottaqi met with his Turkish counterpart in Ankara

Amir Khan Mottaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, met with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in Ankara.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on page X that in this meeting, the two sides discussed the level of bilateral and diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Turkey, new trade corridors and many regional issues.
In this meeting, Turkish Foreign Minister said that there should be no more armed opposition in Afghanistan.
He described the relations between Turkey and Afghanistan as brotherly and said that his country will continue its friendship with Afghanistan.
Following this meeting, the Afghan Foreign Minister appreciated Turkey’s assistance and welcomed the new Afghan diplomats in Ankara and Istanbul as a good progress in bilateral relations.
