Mottaqi discussed with the head of UNAMA about the deportation of Afghan refugees by Pakistan

Amir Khan Mottaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, discussed with Roza Otunbayeva, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Afghanistan, about the forced deportation of Afghan refugees by Pakistan.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of this ministry, wrote on page X that in this meeting, there was a discussion about the improper performance of Pakistan’s security apparatus with Afghan immigrants, short-term and long-term assistance to the returnees from the Afghan government and the international community.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said in this meeting: “The government of Pakistan attacks the homes of Afghan immigrants and takes their cash assets by force.”

Mottaqi called on international organizations to fulfill their obligations regarding the plight of refugees.
