Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar met with Iran’s Foreign Minister

During his trip to Iran, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Taliban prime minister, met with Amir Abdullahian, the foreign minister of that country.
The deputy economic office of the Taliban prime minister wrote on page X that in this meeting, the parties discussed joint cooperation in the political, economic, educational, cultural and other sectors.
In this meeting, Abdul Ghani Baradar talked about increasing Afghanistan’s trade with the countries of the region and the world through Iran, the investment of Iranian investors in Afghanistan and the provision of necessary facilities in the field of issuing visas for Afghans.
Emphasizing that Afghanistan wants to increase its exports and imports through Iran, he asked the Iranian government to provide the necessary facilities in this regard.
In this meeting, the two sides also emphasized on the creation of the Wakhan Corridor and its use, and agreed that both countries should establish a joint committee to speed up its affairs.
