The Afghan delegation discussed transit and regional trade issues with Iranian officials

The economic deputy of the Taliban Prime Minister says that the Afghan delegation, represented by Abdul Ghani Baradar, discussed trade, border and transit issues during their trip to Iran.
This institution has written on page X that the Afghan delegation discussed with Iranian officials on increasing Afghanistan’s exports and imports through Chabahar port and providing facilities for exports and imports between Afghanistan and Iran.
The economic deputy of the Taliban prime minister added that the officials of the two countries have continued to emphasize the connection of Iran with China through the Wakhan Corridor and the connection of Iran with Uzbekistan through Afghanistan and the expansion of the railway project from this route to the Wakhan Corridor.
The Afghan delegation has reached an agreement with the Iranian authorities during this trip to establish joint committees to deal with the problems of Afghan immigrants and both countries to jointly fight against drug cultivation and trafficking.
