The UNAMA flag was flown at half-mast in mourning for the killing of UN staff in Gaza

The United Nations Deputy Mission in Afghanistan, UNAMA, has announced that they have lowered the UNAMA flag to half-mast in mourning for the killing of UN employees in Gaza.

In a statement, this organization said that it has lowered its flag to half-mast in Afghanistan in mourning over the killing of more than 100 UN workers in Gaza.

UNAMA added that this figure is the highest number of UN staff killed in the history as a result of conflicts.
