40 emerald mines were discovered in Panjshir

Local officials in Panjshir say that several emerald mines have been discovered in this province.

Mohammad Qasim Amiri, head of mines and petroleum of Panjshir, says that 40 emerald mines have been discovered in this province.

According to him, these mines were recently discovered in Peryan district of Panjshir province.

Head of Panjshir Mines and Petroleum added that so far 1,250 emerald mines have been discovered in this province, and the Islamic Emirate has issued mining licenses for 550 of them.
