SIGAR: More than 200 health centers in Afghanistan stopped working this year

The Office of the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) has announced that more than 260 health centers in Afghanistan have stopped operating this year.

SIGAR wrote on page X that this year, 262 fixed and mobile health centers and 173 mobile health and nutrition teams have stopped their activities in Afghanistan.

This institution added that with the suspension of the activity of these health centers, the access of two million people in Afghanistan to health services has been affected.
