The European Union donated 10 million dollars to Afghanistan in the health sector
The European Union has announced that it has allocated 10 million dollars in the provision of health services in Afghanistan.
This union said in a statement that these aids will be used to fight infectious diseases and strengthen the provision of health services by the World Health Organization in Afghanistan.
This is while the Office of the United States Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) announced last week that this year, 262 fixed and mobile health centers and 173 mobile health and nutrition teams have stopped their activities in Afghanistan.
Sigar added that by stopping the activity of these health centers, the access of two million people in Afghanistan to health services has been affected.
