The eighth train carrying Turkish humanitarian aid arrived in Herat

The Turkish Embassy in Kabul has announced that the eighth train carrying humanitarian aid of this country has arrived in Herat province yesterday (Saturday).

This embassy wrote on page X that these aids have reached Herat province through the Turghandi border and are carrying humanitarian aid to meet the needs of Afghans affected by the recent earthquakes in this province.

According to this embassy, these aids will continue to be distributed among immigrants returning to Afghanistan.

In the ceremony of handing over these aid to the Afghan officials, the deputy of the Ministry of Economy, the deputy of the Afghan Red Crescent, the deputy of the Afghanistan Disaster Management Department and the senior officials of Herat Province were present.

In this ceremony, the staff of the Turkish embassy and consulate in Herat, officials of Tika office, Turkish Red Crescent and Turkish Education Foundation were also present in this ceremony.

Cenk Unal, the Turkish ambassador, emphasized in this ceremony that Turkey and Afghanistan will continue to help each other in difficult situations.

It should be mentioned that Turkey has already sent several trains carrying humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
