Polio vaccination campaign has started in Afghanistan

The organization known as polio-free Afghanistan has announced that the polio vaccination campaign will begin today (Monday) in different regions of Afghanistan.

This organization said on page X that the sub-campaign of applying the polio vaccine will continue in the country from November 27 to 30 in cooperation with international organizations.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate also said in a statement that the duration of this campaign in the provinces of Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar, which started on November 25, has been extended and is scheduled to continue until December.

It should be mentioned that Afghanistan and Pakistan are the only countries in the world where there are polio cases so far.
