Afghans living in America can apply for residency for their family members in Afghanistan

The United States Department of State has announced that Afghan citizens residing in the United States can apply for residency for their family members in Afghanistan.
The ministry said in a statement that based on the new facilities, citizens who have a green card, a special immigration visa, or permanent residence in the United States can apply to bring their family members from Afghanistan to the United States.
The State Department added: “If you are a citizen of the United States, your spouse, children, and parents may be eligible for immediate immigration to the United States.” US citizens can also apply for their siblings and unmarried adult children, and they may immigrate after receiving a visa.
After the fall of the previous Afghan government, thousands of Afghans migrated to American and European countries.
