A special hospital for women was established in Paktia

Local officials in Paktia announce the establishment of a women’s hospital by the Norwegian Committee in this province.

Officials in Paktia say that this hospital was established at a cost of 1.5 million dollars with the financial assistance of the Norwegian Committee in this province.

According to the officials, all the employees of this hospital are women and they provide services for mothers and children.

This is while Dr. Qaland Ebad, Acting Minister of Public Health of the acting government, called the lack of female doctors in the country a challenge.
