The Turkish ambassador in Kabul met with the Taliban’s Minister of Refugees
The caretaker government’s Ministry of Migrant Affairs says that Cenk Unal, the Turkish ambassador living in Kabul, has met with Khalilur Rahman Haqqani, the caretaker of the ministry.
The ministry wrote on page X that during this meeting, the problems of Afghan immigrants in Turkey, the release of Afghan prisoners from that country’s prisons and other issues were discussed.
The Turkish ambassador said in this meeting that Turkey has good and deep relations with Afghanistan, the existence of Afghan diplomats in that country and the visits of delegations show Turkey’s good intentions towards Afghanistan.
He added that the number of reports of inappropriate behavior of the police towards Afghan immigrants in Turkey has decreased and if there is a complaint in any place, action will be taken.
In the continuation of this meeting, the Acting Minister of Refugees asked the Turkish ambassador to issue visas to Afghans and said that Afghan refugees in that country should be treated according to the rules of Islam.
