Foreign Minister of India: The diplomatic activity of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in India continues
Indian Foreign Minister SG Shankar says that the diplomatic activity of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan continues in this country.
He told the media that in the last two years, some Afghan diplomats have left India due to obtaining residency in third countries, but the remaining diplomats have assumed the responsibility of continuing the diplomatic missions of that country.
The Indian Foreign Minister has said that the diplomatic presence of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi and the consulates of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Mumbai and Hyderabad in India will continue to operate.
According to him, India’s approach towards Afghanistan is still based on historical relations, friendship with its people and related UN resolutions.
It should be mentioned that India has not yet recognized the Taliban government and has always emphasized on the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan and the non-use of this country’s soil for terrorist activities.
