The foreign ministers of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan met in Herat

Amir Khan Mottaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, has met with his Turkmen counterpart, Rashid Mardouf.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the deputy spokesperson of the ministry, wrote on page X that the parties met in Turghandi port and discussed joint projects between the two countries.

He said that the purpose of the Turkmen delegation’s visit to Herat is to visit and improve the practical flow of joint projects between the two countries in the fields of economy, transit, railway electricity and energy.
