Cyprus and Australia donated more than 20 million dollars to Afghanistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Australia has announced that this country has allocated 20 million dollars to help the people of Afghanistan.

The ministry said in a newsletter that this aid is intended for Afghan citizens and Afghans who have migrated abroad.

At the same time, the Office of the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations in Afghanistan has also announced the donation of more than 98 thousand Euros from Cyprus to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

Ocha wrote on page X that Cyprus has allocated 98,468 euros (equivalent to 106,757 dollars) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund to support humanitarian activities in this country.

Ocha added that Cyprus has contributed more than 177,000 euros to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund since 2021.
