The Ministry of Energy and Water warned of rising water levels and floods in some provinces

The Ministry of Energy and Water of the Islamic Emirate has warned against rising sea levels and floods in some provinces of the country.

The ministry wrote on page X that according to the forecasts of the country’s meteorological organization and international meteorological organizations, the occurrence of floods due to relatively heavy rains has been predicted in some parts of Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Energy and Water added that these rains and sudden floods are predicted from the 24th to the 26th of this year in the river basin (Harirud and Hirmand).

The ministry added that due to heavy rains in the provinces of Herat, Farah, Helmand, Trinkot, Zabul and some other parts of Afghanistan, there is a possibility of floods.
