Japan donates more than 6 million dollars to the health sector in Afghanistan
The World Health Organization has announced Japan’s aid of more than 6 million dollars in the health sector to Afghanistan.
This organization said in a statement that the Japanese government has allocated 6.9 million dollars to strengthen the capacity of hospitals in the infectious diseases department in Afghanistan.
The World Health Organization added that with this help, health services will be provided to more than 76,000 people throughout Afghanistan, and this indicates an important progress in dealing with and reducing the impact of infectious diseases on the people of this country.
According to the World Health Organization, with this amount, quality health services will continue to be provided to infectious disease patients, laboratories will be supported for accurate diagnosis of infectious diseases in Afghanistan.
