A young girl was released from house arrest in Badakhshan

Local authorities in Badakhshan say that they have released a girl from house arrest in this province.

Ehsanullah Kamgar, the spokesperson of the Badakhshan Police Command, says that this girl was imprisoned in a house for six months by her mother, in “Khairabad” village, Baharak district of this province.

According to him, this girl is 14 years old, and the security forces have started further investigations into the cause of this incident.

The spokesperson of the Badakhshan Police Command added that the girls described the condition of this girl as satisfactory.
