The European Union donated 3 million euros to Afghanistan

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced a 3 million euro contribution from the European Union to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

Ocha wrote on page X that this amount will be used to provide food and non-food items for thousands of needy people throughout Afghanistan.

The European Union has recently provided 25 million euros to the World Food Program to provide food and emergency aid to people in need in Afghanistan.

The World Food Program said that this funding will also be useful for the prevention and treatment of malnutrition in young children and pregnant and lactating mothers.
