Karzai welcomed the UN resolution on Afghanistan
Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, has welcomed the UN resolution on Afghanistan.
Mr. Karzai wrote on page X that he welcomes the resolution of the UN Security Council, which shows the alignment of the world assemblies for a peaceful, stable and progressive Afghanistan.
The former president called this resolution an expression of respect for Afghanistan’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and national unity.
He once again stressed on the continuation of girls’ education and called women’s participation in all the affairs of the society as a guarantee of Afghanistan’s development.
It should be mentioned that the United Nations Security Council recently passed a resolution asking the secretary general of this organization to appoint a special representative to Afghanistan.
