28 people were arrested in connection with drug trafficking

The Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of 28 people in connection with drug trafficking and sales.

The ministry wrote on page X that the anti-narcotics police arrested 28 people in connection with drug trafficking and sales from 5 provinces during several separate operations.

The Ministry of Interior added that among these people, 13 people were arrested from Helmand province, 10 people from Nimroz province, 3 people from Kapisa province and 2 others from Kabul and Daikundi provinces.

According to this ministry, 19 kilograms of opium and various types of drugs were obtained from the arrested persons.
