Turkish police announced the arrest of 24 Afghan immigrants
Turkish police have announced the arrest of more than 20 Afghan refugees upon entering the country.
According to an announcement by the Turkish police, 24 Afghan refugees who were planning to enter Turkey through Iran’s border have been arrested in Eghdir city.
Turkish police said that two of the arrested persons were accused of human trafficking.
It should be mentioned that Pakistan, Iran and Turkey host the largest number of immigrants from Afghanistan and recently the deportation of these immigrants by the mentioned countries has intensified.
