Iran: We do not support military action by any group against Afghanistan
The Iranian embassy in Kabul has announced the meeting of Hassan Kazemi Qomi, head of the embassy, with Maulvi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the Taliban prime minister.
The Iranian Embassy has written on page X that this country has been welcoming the people of Afghanistan for more than four decades and will not support military action against the territorial integrity of Afghanistan by any group.
The embassy added that independence, territorial integrity, legitimate sovereignty, participation without discrimination, stability, people’s welfare, prosperity and good neighborliness are the principles of Iran’s foreign policy.
Arg also wrote on page X that during this meeting Mr. Qomi said that his country has treaties with Afghanistan in the fields of trade, agriculture, electricity and mines and is ready to cooperate in other investment and technical sectors.
