A young man committed suicide in Bamyan

Local officials in Bamyan say that a young boy committed suicide in the province.

The press office of the Bamyan Police Command said in a newsletter that this young boy was 16 years old and died by hanging himself in Zargaran area in the center of this province on Sunday.

According to the newsletter, the body of this young man has been taken to the hospital for further investigation.

The local authorities of Bamyan have not said anything about the cause and motive of this young man’s killing.

It should be noted that the number of suicides among children in Afghanistan has increased in recent years.
