Denmark contributes more than 6 million dollars to Afghanistan

The United Nations Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan has announced Denmark’s aid of more than 6 million dollars for this country.

On page X, this fund appreciated Denmark’s assistance to Afghanistan and said that Denmark helps empower the people of Afghanistan, especially women and girls.

The return of Afghan immigrants from neighboring countries to Afghanistan, drought and the imposition of sanctions on Afghanistan have worsened the humanitarian situation in this country.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan announced on Sunday that in 2024, more than 15 million people in Afghanistan will experience food insecurity.

Ocha added that sustainable funding is needed to ensure that families can meet their basic needs and prevent further hunger in communities.
