Iranian media quoted officials as saying that 14,414 Afghan refugees have been deported and returned to their homeland in the past 10 days.
Fars News Agency released a report on Monday that the migrants had returned to Afghanistan via the Dogharoun border.
According to reports, the men were arrested for lack of legal documents and handed over to the authorities of the Islamic Emirate by the country’s security forces.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations of the Islamic Emirate announced the return of 746 Afghan refugees to Afghanistan through “Islam Qala”.
