Qandahar Textile Factory Begins Operation After 32 Years
Qandahar Textile Factory Restarts Operation After 32 Years.
The foundation stone of this large factory was laid in 1976 by Sardar Mohammad Davood Khan, and in 1979 began to produce 40 million meters of fabrics and many yarns that are made of textiles, blankets and military carpets.
The re-activation of this factory by the caretaker government now stops hundreds of tons of cotton and wool now exported abroad as raw materials at very low prices, then becomes useful indoors and creates jobs for thousands of people.
