A mass grave was found in Khost province

A mass grave has been found in Khost province, Afghanistan.

Bismullah Bilal, the mayor of Khost province, told media that the mass grave was discovered in the center of Khost and about 100 bodies were found.

It is said that the mass grave was found while local people were digging to build a small water dam.

Local officials in Khost province said a committee had been appointed about the history of the mass grave and launched its own investigation.

However, one tribal elder, in an interview with the media, said these were from 40 to 45 years ago.
