Norwegian will hold a meeting about the consequences of climate change in Afghanistan Norwegian
The National Environment Department of the caretaker government quoted Tariye Magnussen, the head of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan, as saying that Norway is going to hold a meeting about the consequences of climate change in Afghanistan.
In the newsletter of this department, it is stated that the head of the navigation committee in Afghanistan made these statements in a meeting with Bazinul Abdin Abid, the deputy of the National Environment Department of the Islamic Emirate.
At the same time, Afghanistan was evaluated in the list of the most vulnerable countries to climate change and was also denied from attending the last international meeting regarding climate threats that was held in Qatar.
The consequences of climate change, of which the continuous warming of the earth’s atmosphere and its consequences are one of its most important parts, have been evaluated as one of the most serious challenges for mankind in the coming years.
In recent years, Afghanistan has faced the serious consequences of climate change, including devastating floods and severe droughts, and according to the United Nations report, Afghanistan is least prepared to fight these changes.
The exact date of the navigation meeting on the consequences of climate change and how it will be held has not been determined yet.
