More than 1,600 people died in ten months in traffic accidents
The General Directorate of Traffic Police has reported that in the last ten months, more than 1,600 people have died in traffic accidents in the country, and more than 4,000 people have been injured.
Based on the statements of officials in this department, more than 3,000 traffic incidents have been recorded throughout the country.
The list of dead includes 967 men, 192 women and 447 children.
Abdul Wadud Khairakhah, Director of Planning and Policy of the General Directorate of Traffic, said about these events and sustainable plans to prevent such events: “Approximately 3,450 traffic accidents have occurred throughout Afghanistan, which resulted in the death of a number of our dear compatriots and a Number of injured. The General Directorate of Afghanistan Traffic Police has very continuous and specific plans to prevent traffic accidents, both on city roads and on surrounding roads and roads related to the country’s highway.
