Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, emphasized the interaction of countries with the Islamic Emirate in a press conference.
According to Mr. Nebenzia, Russia, like other countries, does not recognize the Taliban, but interacts with them.
The permanent representative of Russia in the United Nations has said: “Like other countries, we have no choice but to recognize the current authorities of Afghanistan, but like other countries, we must interact with them.” “We have to interact with the people who are ruling Afghanistan now.”
Vasiliy Nebenzia added that the issue of respecting human rights, especially women’s rights, is still important to them.
