Taliban: If our conditions are met, we will attend the next meeting
The Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, has once again announced that they will attend upcoming UN meetings on Afghanistan if the group’s demands are accepted.
On Friday, February 23, the presidential palace announced that Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy head of the group’s ministerial directorate, had once again made a precondition for participation in UN meetings, referring to the Doha meeting a few days ago.
According to the Arg, he said at the ceremony of Darou Uloom Siraj al-Salam students in Kabul that they would attend future meetings if the group’s demands were accepted by the United Nations.
He also called the UN’s participation in the Doha summit “unfair” and added that they would participate in future meetings if the group’s demands were accepted.
Mawlavi Abdul Kabir also stressed that no country will face any threat from Afghanistan’s soil.
