The informant of the first vice president of Iran was elected as acting president and director of the executive branch

Iranian media have reported that after the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, his first deputy Mohammad Mokhbar will take over his [President Ebrahim Raisi’s] powers and responsibilities with the agreement of the leadership.

These media have written that Mr. Mokhbar will be responsible for the executive affairs of this country based on “Article 131” of the Iranian Constitution.
